A small section of patchwork taken from a quilt i am currently making.

An example of one of my flowers also used on the quilt.

A small example of sufolk puffs.

My partly finished quilt, firstly I made a patchwork background, then I added the tree design (created by using a paper template tacked to the back of the fabric), in the forground there are a selection of flowers - each made using differnt processes. The back of the quilt is splti into 3 sections. In the spare space there is going to be a verse about nature, as well as applique birds and 3D pieces hanging off the main background.

Rag dolls.

Small sample (paper, fabric and stitch).

Object of desire - Culture.

1950's inspired project - Created in conjuction with the lowry
(based on the theme of women's roles).
Wrap around apron dress.

Small section of work inspired by Bruce Nauman.

Sample created using layers of fabric stitched together and subsequently cut into.

A cushion i made at home as a small project to myself. I used scraps of fabrics lying around and wanted to create an item that looked oldy - worldy.

This was creating by needle felting a design onto a thin peice of fabric. I really love the texture of the work and the sense of movement it has.
