Experimenting with different medias i have been looking at what the concept of change means to me. For me it means manipulating an object or a space, using some means to create something new. This can be explored thoroughly in many different ways, this is just a first sketchbook attempt. I think they maybe need to be developed a little bit more in order for the audience to completely appreciate their value.
These were done simply with paint, oils, inks water and acetate. Although the final effect isnt quite what i was hoping to achieve, it does show the direction in which i would like to continue in. The image to the right is my favorite, the sense of airyness it has is something i think i would like to consider more as i head further on into the project, i am thinking of working with glass and acetate to create something very fresh and light, incorporating the old dreary imaging i have been working with so far into it some how. What do you think would work well?
