Plastic prints

Continuing on from looking at printing with plastic wallets i began looking at how different coloured images created different outputs. I found that the darker the image the better the print, using lighter colours definitely  looks prettier to begin with, but as the ink dries the images seems to disappear to a blur of nothing.

I also found that by inserting different materials inside the wallets it creates a number of new scenes. Using white paper gives the image a crisp, clean feel. While darker, more textured paper makes the image more cold and hostile looking.
Below are a few experiments i have been playing with over the last few hours.

The image below is an all colour image, notice how bold and vivid the image looks. Where as the image below is done using grey and neutral colours, it doesnt stand out as much as i would like it to. If this image were to be printed in black ink the image would be a lot more striking and commercial.

This is so far one of my favorite images i have created. I love the natural elements to it and feel like it really ties in with what i am trying to put across. When light shines through this image i imagine the shapes reflected onto the floor will be bold, loud and ever changing as the light source shifts!
