Shayna Leib is a multimedia artist who works solely with glass and its properties. She strives to push the boundaries and come up with exciting new way of manipulating the material to create a different effect within her work.
She uses the ability of hot glass to harden plastic in the most unlikely of forms. This combined with the continuous play of light creates the illusion of movement!
Glass, in all its fragility and beauty, is a very difficult material to work with. Working with it requires an enormous effort and a lot of knowledge about the technical characteristics of the material, before any artist outcomes can be produced!
